Quiet weekend. When I’m bored, I go shopping. Took it a little far this weekend… it was a bit of a home decor shopping spree. Wheeeee!

Polaroid Memories
* Photo frame, $6.99
Finally put together White Party #1 polaroids back together in a frame.

Turqouise-accented bathroom
Inspired by lots of turquoise featured on Mad Men. The bathroom still needs some more work done, but this will get me started.

* Rug, $19.99 (originally $29.99)
Still not sure if I like the rug. I bought another one, but the colors on that one just don’t quite work.

* Deep turqouise soy-sauce dish?, $4.99
* Small jar, $3.99
I plan to put some black sand in there that Dylan brought back from Hawaii last year.

Zig Zags
* Rug, $14.99
It’s a bathroom rug but I’m using it as a kitchen rug for now.

Asian inspiration
* Bamboo tray table, $29.99 (originally $59.99)
I’m still not sure where to put this. Or what to even use it for. I just liked the look of it and hoped that it would find its place in my home.

Mirrored
* 2′x3′ mirror, $29.97 (originally $129.99)
I saw this yesterday at West Elm, came home, and kept thinking about it. I went back and bought it – it was a great buy and I happened to grab the last one still in the box. Nice, heavy, and sturdy.

Now I can see my face as I hack around on my computer with Mad Men playing in the background! Again, not sure if this is where I want to keep the mirror, but I’m kind of liking that my lamp is in the reflection. Oh, also, I’m hanging it off two screws that were left in the wall by my previous owner. I’m kinda scared that it’ll fall at any moment – actually, if an earthquake hit Las Vegas, I’d be afraid of a lot of things falling off in my house. I have built myself a lazy house of cards!

Plum & Mauve
* Blanket, $24.99
Spent a bit of time on Pinterest this weekend and I was inspired by a Pin to find a deep plum blanket to match my mauve walls. Also, thinking of ways to incorporate grey into my bedroom, inspired by this Pin.

I’m a little scared to do it, but I’m now going to add up how much I spent this weekend…..

And the grand total is:
$135.90
Hey, actually, not too shabby considering that I just updated 3 different rooms in my house. Score!

Next house project: BALLS! Buying lots and lots of these from CB2. Which just might be my new favorite store. :)
